We weren’t so interested in this book when it was announced. Sure, we were curious about what Nick and John Benson had to say. And Raphael Boguslav. And Leonard Baskin. And Elvira Piedra. But we aren’t generally interested in artists writing about what they do. As we flipped through this book, however, there was hardly an entry that didn’t catch our eye. Who’s that?! or What’s that beautiful thing?! What was meant to be a quick flip to aid in our writing this superficial description turned into an afternoon well spent. A total eye-opener.
