IBM On Campus (Paul Rand)
Calling all Big Blue Buffs, Watsonians, Thinkerheads, and Blunatics. This one’s for you. It’s a modified version of Paul Rand’s iconic IBM rebus, adapted for campus job fairs. A local IBM recruiter would visit schools and let the kids know that they’d be there at a certain time and place and that the kids should polish their shoes and powder their noses so as to make the best impression and maybe get a job at International Business Machines. Funny that they have on there that IBM is (or was) an equal opportunity employer. Today that would get all their government contracts cancelled. Anyway, an affordable way to get a smaller (and more affordable) version of this important design.
