Archiv für Buchgewerbe und Gebrauchsgraphik (1922) (E.R. Weiss issue)
Every issue of what we might call in English Archive for the Book Trade and Commercial Graphics was special, but this one is more special as it was dedicated to the work of E.R. Weiss. It’s in German—but your phone can translate it. But do you really need to? It’s loaded with pics of exceptional work. Who wants to read? Just look at the pics. And when you are done, check out all the ads. This thing is loaded with ads for typefaces. It’s a remarkable survey of excellent work and a good document of a certain period of time and the types that were available and how they were made known. Gesundheit!
