Ari Inu Usagi [Ant Dog Rabbit] (Cyrus Highsmith)
Ari Inu Usagi (あり いぬ うさぎ) is Cyrus Highsmith’s second children’s book to be published in Japan. It’s the follow up to the Japanese edition of Apple Bear Cat. A basic primer for hiragana, it’s full of red ants, thirsty stray cats, angry camels, sad crows, a presbyopic donkey, and fun. You most likely won’t learn a bit of Japanese, but every page is a friggin’ delight.
