Beethoven: Symphony No. 2 in D (Hans Schmoller + Elizabeth Friedlander)

$15.00
Just put those old records on the shelf and pick up this beauty. The Penguin Scores were pocket-size scores (You know, for when you want to walk around with a full symphony on paper.) and first designed by Jan Tschichold. The design was carried on and adapted by Hans Schmoller, here beautifully set in Caslon. The pattern on the cover is by Elizabeth Friedlander and makes us feel like dancin’. (We wanna dance the night away.) A beautiful thing and Instagram gold. Also a neat copy because it has a price sticker set in Gill Sans. (Gill was a monster. We know. Please do not write us about this.)
