Color Printing Inks (Philip Ruxton)

Imagine being a printer of this thing. We count about sixty-eight colors. Having typed that, we now suppose that’s nothing compared to a modern Pantone swatch book. But this thing was printed via letterpress, which means the printer probably had to walk uphill to and from work and undoubtedly carried a hot potato to keep warm. Anyway, a lovely showing of the printer’s craft. And it’s colorful! A perfect antidote to the winter grays.
