Koichi Sato (GGG Book 13)
Koichi Sato studied in the design department of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts 1965–69. After two years at the advertising division of Shiseido, Japan’s leading cosmetics company, he started to work freelance and gradually became known as one of the foremost explorers of traditional Japanese aesthetics in modern design. And now you know as much as we do. This book’s 2-page introduction gives just a taste of the esteem in which he is held in Japan—the remaining sixty or so pages will show why he’s earned that esteem, with picture after picture of good work.
