In reality (if your reality is that you don’t read German), it’s a lovely visual primer of those topics, featuring plenty of examples of Tschichold’s own lettering and calligraphy—along with loads more by others. Although loaded with words, it’s a looker. Look with care and you can still take away the lessons Tschichold is trying to convey.
