Seven War Poems + The Gordon Highlanders Museum
These two books were put together by graphic design students at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland, under the direction of George Mackie. They are friggin’ lovely. Both are beautifully designed, illustrated, and printed. It’s kinda hard to believe the illustrations are by students. Includes a handwritten letter from Mackie to Howard Gralla, recounting a nice visit and noting that these two books were “products of the time when I had lots of energy, & faith in teaching.” RRRRRRRare.
