Spitzpinsel-Alphabete (Karlgeorg Hoefer)

$450.00

According to the Google-translated colophon, these fourteen alphabets were made by Karlgeorg Hoefer and Ottmar Premstaller and cut in linoleum. Printed in two colors throughout (although we somehow only managed to photograph the black-only alphabets) in an edition of 150 copies. WorldCat shows two copies in German libraries. Google only shows two references to this book on the entire Internet. A beautiful little thing with acrobatic alphabets. It’s amazing that these things were cut in linoleum.

Watch a sloppy flip made while we were waiting for students to arrive and then cut short by their arrival »
