This issue also features a study titled \u003cem\u003eSymbolic Constructions\u003c\/em\u003e by Aaron Marcus (then based in Princeton), which explores non-linear typographic systems, conceptual grammars of symbols, and visual communication models designed to surpass the limitations of traditional text.
