Woodtype: Selective Emphasis for Fine Typography by Hamilton
We were taught that wood type is best used in a fireplace. We’re not sure this specimen convinces us otherwise, but it is good showing of what was available in 1960. Despite what we’ve typed above, there’s a lot of inspiration to be taken from these showings of types designed with tools we would never consider using today.
