Our forty-third Standing-Room Only Lecture will have chairs—and Kelli Anderson coming with her remarkable new book to sign and talk and perform and sign. At present we’ve no idea what Kelli will talk about, but no doubt it will involve alphabets and motion. And as the publisher of record of this book, our name is in every single copy. Come and have Kelli put your name in a copy. Or two. Or three.
Our speaker, Kelli Anderson, has been widely celebrated for her work in infographics, branding design, pop up books and risograph animations. She is a Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award nominee, a fellow at both NYC’s Centre for Book Arts and San Francisco’s Exploratorium, and served as Adobe’s inaugural creative resident. Kelli’s previous publications include This Book Is a Camera (MoMA, 2015) and This Book Is a Planetarium (Chronicle, 2017). Her work has been praised by The Atlantic, The New York Times, Wired, and more.
Tickets are available for $15 each.

Standing-Room Only Lectures usually aim to present short talks about graphic design, typography, and collecting. This time, however, the talk will be an illustrated conversation—and it won’t be short. And there will be chairs for everyone.
