Our thirty-ninth Standing-Room-Only Lecture will actually consist of three very short lectures. Just-graduated graduate students from MassArt, Northeastern, and Boston University will present their thesis projects in 7(ish)-minute talks. We’ve no idea what they’ll be talking about, but we know it will be [[insert young-person slang which suggests that something is good]]. Organized by BURISDMassArtMICA’s Brockett Horne, this event will have emcee Ryan Diaz serving as emcee to keep the talks tickin’ and the bass bumpin’. (Or something.)
Our speakers number three. Tina Rosado crafts insightful data experiences that build trust and collaboration. She recently completed an MFA in Information Design & Data Visualization with a Certificate of Digital Humanities at Northeastern University. Yiner Xu is an illustrator, visual designer, and creative technologist. She completed a BFA at MassArt in illustration, and is about to graduate with an MFA from the Dynamic Media Institute at MassArt with cross-registration in MIT Theater Arts and Media Lab. Ghazaleh Farrokhi is a graphic designer from Tehran. She recently completed an MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University.

Standing-Room Only Lectures aim to present short talks about graphic design, typography, and collecting. The lectures are kept to about twenty minutes because—true to its name—the series takes place in our standing-room only gallery. So, wear comfortable shoes and bring a short attention span.
