Here’s a bookplate for the Munich-based bookseller, publisher, and antiquarian Horst Stobbe who was born in 1884 and died in 1974. He is not to be confused with the West German rower of the same name. It was made by Hubert Wilm (1887–1963), a designer of bookplates, an illustrator, art historian, and editor who made nice things.
