A Sign Systems Manual
This book—so sayeth the jacket—illustrates and describes a simple basic system for designing and displaying signs. It provides a practical and functional sign system complete in itself, which should yet prove to be sufficiently flexible to adapt to or incorporate any special requirements. The manual includes sections on sign classification, positioning and standardization, layout, and production. Blah. Blah Blah. Man. Who writes jacket copy? What they should have written is something like, “Although a practical tool for designing and implementing systems of signage, this book is friggin’ beautiful. Read from front to back or just dip in when a pic catches your eye. No matter how you interact with this book, it’s impossible not to take something from it. A total stunner.”

- Size: 8.5 × 10.5 inches
- Pages: 76
- Binding: Hardcover
- Condition: Excellent with the signature of the previous owner, Krzysztof Lenk, on first leaf. Jacket slightly chipped but in mylar so it looks fine. Also—and weirdly—has the same folio sewn in twice, so there are two of page 57 and two page 58 and two of page 75 and two of page 76. Pages 75 and 76 have a fold-out and were probably inserted by hand, thus the bonus material.
