A Wood Engraving by Matthew Carter

$45.00

We bet you didn’t know Matthew Carter made a wood engraving. Or that he designed a Kis revival. This slender volume tells the stories of both. The engraving was made when he was nineteen, forgotten, and recently printed straight from the block for us by Art Larson at Horton Tank Graphics. The Kis was made more recently, once he got a few other type designs under his belt, and this is the first time it’s been used for anything. An interesting thing, published by us and signed by Matthew.
