A Woodtype Print by Dennis Y. Ichiyama [white]

$150.00
Dennis Ichiyama is an artist focusing on woodblock prints and a former professor of Visual Communications Design at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. In 1999, he became the designer-in-residence at the Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, working with historic wood type. This playful charmer was printed in May of 2000. Signed, dated, and chopped, this one’s a good showing of what can be done with bright colors and careful compositions—and a museum filled with historic wood type.
