If not from real life, you’ll know Michael Harvey’s work from our current exhibition. But before our show, he was a wildly prolific letterer, type designer, carver, designer, and teacher. This is his story, in his own words—but loaded with pics. It covers each aspect of his career—each in just the right amount of detail. It’s never excruciating or boring or self-indulgent. A tremendous source of inspiration and a tremendous resource. Too good. Too uncommon.
