De couturedoos: Van Krimpen-vondsten voor Huis van het Boek

With this one, the Friends of Museum Meermanno Foundation celebrates the fact that it was able to acquire a number of archival documents from Jan and Huib van Krimpen for Huis van het Boek. Explained in these pages is how the acquisition came about and how an antiquarian must always be on his guard. The most beautiful find was a couture box containing exciting archival material, such as previously unknown designs for the Lumitype by Jan van Krimpen. Who knew? You probably won’t know after getting this book because it’s in Dutch. But just scan it and have it translated. We suspect it will be worth the effort.
