Exposicion Retrospectiva de Lorenzo Homar (Lorenzo Homar)
Let’s look back on the work of Lorenzo Homar. This obviously calls for a silkscreen poster by Lorenzo Homar with more colors than we can count. But who was Homar? Allow us to swipe from the Poster House site as they had a show of Homar’s posters that you just missed: “Lorenzo Homar was a pioneering printmaker, poster designer, calligrapher, painter, illustrator, caricaturist, and costume and theatrical set designer. Active from the 1950s through the 1990s, few equal his impact and influence as a teacher of poster design and printmaking in Latin America.” This is one of those pioneering posters, signed and inscribed and numbered.
