Laudatio for Hermann Zapf / In Memoriam Giovanni Mardersteig

It’s nice when two colleagues feel warmly and agree to write something about one another. Here are two type-and-book designer-scholars Giovanni Mardersteig and Hermann Zapf taking a moment to write adoringly and informatively about each other. A good quick read for a lazy Sunday morning. (We typed that last sentence from our own experience. See, we just read our own copy of this, sitting in a nice chair with the sun on our head keeping us warm while the drafty window did its best to keep us cool. It’s almost like the McDLT here.)
