Makoto Saito has worked as a commercial art director, creative director, product designer and film-maker, as well as a graphic designer, but he uses the poster as his signature medium. And now you know as much as we do. (And we just swiped that from Eye.) This book’s 2-page introduction gives just a taste of the esteem in which he is held in Japan—the remaining sixty or so pages will show why he’s earned that esteem, with picture after picture of good work.
