Robert Granjon: Sixteenth Century Typefounder and Printer

$250.00

We learned printing in an English Monotype shop and have largely never been fans of Mergenthaler Linotype faces. The exception? Linotype’s Granjon is infinitely better than Monotype’s stupid Garamond. It might not be a fair comparison since their models weren’t identical, but they’re both old and French and Linotype’s is just plain and boring and useful whereas Monotype’s is pretty and ridiculous. Anyway, this beauty is all about Linotype’s Granjon, showing off what it can do in all its sizes. C’est magnifique!
