Ski Dartmouth Skiway (John R. Scotford, Jr.)
It’s about 1965. The Dartmouth Skiway wants you to ski their way. Or, commemorate the time your skied their skiway. They ask John R. Scotford, Jr., the recently appointed special assistant in the development office for the Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth College. Later he became the designer for the college, managing the look of everything. Was this promotion based on this poster or the his years of service to the college? We can’t say. We can say, however, that this one makes us want to drive north, get out our K2s, and hit the slopes.
