Sphere (Vol. 2, No. 1; Spring 1996)

$60.00

David Sterling and Mark Randall of World Studio Foundation started with a magazine called Sphere, which featured articles about artists and designers who incorporated a social agenda into their work. “We created Sphere for two reasons,” says Randall. “To learn more about what people were doing in this area, and to create a public dialogue around social-impact work, which the mainstream design media wasn’t covering.” Here’s the Spring 1996 issue, loaded with all sorts of good stuff. Weirdly rare.
