Technical Terms of the Printing Industry

$240.00

Don’t be fooled by this ugly brown cover. First of all, in real life it’s a little nicer. And the spine is modestly set in Gill Sans. But modest as it might appear, it’s a little workhorse of useful information, beautifully designed and arranged by Rudolf Hostettler. And it’s loaded with information that is still useful today even if we hardly use any of the same tools. It’s really good at explaining where our terms come from and what those same terms are in English, French, Italian, German, and Dutch. Carry this one around in your pocket and know that Alvin Eisenman did the same—because this was his copy, signed by him in pencil on the first leaf.
