The History of Hyde Park and The Grosvenors

$60.00

When one works on books about slabs, stencils, shadows, and scripts, one needs a lot of examples around. Like, when Louise Fili was working on Scripts, she picked up this book about the history of Hyde Park and The Grosvenors. Is she interested in the history of Hyde Park and The Grosvenors? We doubt it. We bet the lettering on the cover just caught her eye. Inside, though, is a diverse and delightful showcase of 1930s English illustration, lettering, and advertising. A neat thing from the collection of Louise Fili—and this is the very item reproduced on page 109 of Scripts. Historic!
