The Tempest

Rather than simply illustrating William Shakespeare’s The Tempest, Jesús Cisneros offers us a personal, poetic vision of the text, and lets us hear the voice of the character Ariel. Using the multiple possibilities of drawing, he creates a universe where visible and invisible, reality and dream, intermingle. And he reinvents the infinite number of ways to read this timeless work. Also, it’s just friggin’ beautiful. Seriously. We don’t know jack about The Tempest, but these drawings are delish.
