They weren’t inclined to boast, but they had a blue cart. Why did they have a blue cart? We’ve no idea. We’ve no idea why Steven Heller had this book either. But we have certainly been guilty ourselves of buying nice things on a whim because they spark joy for a second and then take up space for the rest our lives—or until we find some foolish bookseller to take them from us.
