Typografische Kalenderblätter (12 Typographic Calendar Pages for 1975)

Naturally, calendars are to be read. We expect from them that they show us something, namely the days and months of the year. We want to get as much as possible at one glance and in a comfortable manner. No doubt calendars are also to be looked at. They can include pictures which do not necessarily have to be as comfortable. This calendar is not comfortable. Its “pictures” cannot be followed at first glance. With this one, one does not only “read” month by month how time goes by, but one also sees how, month by month, somebody survives time. And this calendar, designed by Konrad Bruckmann and produced under the direction of Wolfgang Weingart, has survived time. A pretty spectacular collection of approaches to the calendar—and it comes in a handy plexiglass case that serves as a frame for whatever month is up. Rare—and it goes well with this.
