Typografische Monatsblätter (11.1975)

So many issues of Typografische Monatsblätter are largely filled with technical stuff in German and French that are completely uninteresting and not the least bit useful. But even in those completely-uninteresting and not-the-least-bit-useful issues there is a section about design and typography. This one has a handsome section dedicated to Gordon Salchow and the graphic design program at the University of Cincinnati, Heinrich Fleischhacker’s study on the hexadecimal system, and results from the second Prix Paul-Bonet. The whole thing is mostly in foreign languages so you probably won’t be able to read it, but you can look at it for a lifetime—especially the striking cover by Heinrich Fleischhacker.
