UCLA Extension Winter Quarter begins January 6, 1990 (Paul Rand)

The 1990 UCLA Extension winter quarter began on January 6 of that year. On January 31, 2006, at the age of thirty, we were in Los Angeles and ate an orange for the very first time. Coincidence? We can’t say for sure, but we love the orange and the snow on this poster by Paul Rand. He captured two contradictory ideas in one illustration. We are always impressed by this one.
