Is this the first time Paul Rand’s logo for Yale University Press was used publicly? We don’t know for sure. Much like RFK, Jr., we’re just asking the question. But the logo is generally dated as a product of 1985 and this is the Yale UP catalogue that announced Paul Rand: A Designer’s Art. So, it could be. A lot of people are saying so.
