[2 notices of Walter Käch’s death]
We are deeply saddened to inform friends and acquaintances that our dear Walter Käch-Altherr (whom we usually know as just Walter Käch or Kaech), the influential Swiss lettering master and graphic designer who taught for decades at the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich, where he famously trained Adrian Frutiger in the precise structural geometry of classical Roman letterforms, is dead. Here are two notices about his untimely passing in 1970.
