[3 French scores]

When one works on books about slabs, stencils, shadows, and scripts, one needs a lot of examples around. Like, when Louise Fili was working on Scripts, she picked up these three French scores with their loopy script lettering. Inside you’ll just see sheet music, but the backs of these (or two of these) have more delightful lettering on the back. Also, we just really like the look of that first one. Instagram gold the collection of Louise Fili—and two of these are the very item reproduced on pages 32 and 34 of Scripts. Historic!
