[3 magazines with scripts on the masthead]

When one works on books about slabs, stencils, shadows, and scripts, one needs a lot of examples around. Like, when Louise Fili was working on Scripts, she picked up these three magazines with scripts used on the mastheads. A neat collection from the collection of collector (and designer) Louise Fili, filled with all sorts of period elements to look at—and the second is the very item reproduced on page 36 of Scripts.
