[a decorated shadow alphabet]
We’ve spent the better part of our lives disgusted when we’ve gone into antique shops and book stores and come across bins of old maps and prints that were removed from books and sold individually. It recently occurred to us, however, that those maps and prints probably (or, possibly) came out of books that were falling apart and could not be sold. Maybe selling those loose pages isn’t so offensive after all. It’s not something we would do. No. We’d just hold on to the book and let it take up space and then eventually put it in our yard sale for $2 rather than cut it up and sell each page for $20. Our nose is big enough that we can cut it off and still have plenty left and have no fear of spiting our face.
We found this tucked into a book to which it did not belong. It’s an interesting alphabet that will look good in your print shop, design studio, or bathroom.
