The design of an envelope should embrace asymmetry. We’ll give you three guesses as to why. For this particular envelope, Ladislav Sutnar embraced the aforementioned asymmetry and turned it on its side in order to mail things from his office. Sutnar – Office was founded in 1950 and zip codes were introduced in 1963, so this envelope is from sometime between (and including) those two dates.
