[a prospectus for telehor]

$400.00

In 1936 the first and only issue of the magazine telehor was released in four languages, as a special edition on and by László Moholy-Nagy. Designed by Jan Tschichold, it is a coveted and important document of its time. This is not that. It is a rare prospectus for that. MoMA has a copy—and that appears to be it. They say it was printed by offset—but they got that wrong. It’s letterpress. Of course, MoMA’s copy was Tschichold’s and then Philip Johnson’s. Ours belonged to Inge Druckrey. We remember that when she passed it along to us she told us it was an example of Tschichold’s work set entirely in lowercase type. RRRRRRRRRRare.
