Alphabetical Cupids and Cherubs in Typographical Americana
It is doubtful that any like number of pages contain such a variety of old exotic typographical ephemera. All items shown therein are from the 19th century and within these pages are 102 miniature (or nearly so) wood cuts, wood engravings, logotypes, initials, and ornamentation; fifty-eight different old-fashioned type faces; and twenty-five borders of rare vintage—all printed down the street in Boston at the famed shop of T.J. Lyons.
