[Bansi bill of exchange designed by Georg Trump]

J. Bansi, Likörfabrik u. Fruchtsaftpresserei (Liqueur Factory and Fruit Juice Press) was founded in 1823. Originally it was a liqueur factory, but at some point it became a fruit juice press, too. Interesting, right? Even more interesting is that in the late 1920s, Bansi hired young Georg Trump to design stationery, forms, ephemera, and posters. And at some point he designed this beautiful bill of exchange. This friggin’ thing is suitable for framing. Man. What a stunner! We never knew we could fall in love with a bill of exchange. And you know what else is cool? It looks like it was printed in black and gray, but it was really just printed in black. An old girlfriend once told us that we had no joy in our heart. Not so. This one makes our heart sing.
