Fichte-Fraktur: Fetter und Schmaler halbfetter Schnitt
Here’s a specimen of Fichte-Fraktur, a face designed by Walter Tiemann (1876–1951) and released by Klingspor in 1934. A bold weight was added in 1939. Although undated, the specimen features the bold weight. It also features lovely sample settings. We can’t understand a word of it, but it all looks really good. It’s got hints of modernism hidden within very classical settings. A strangely dynamic thing.
