Folk Art USA: Quilts [First Day Cover] (Chris Pullman)

On March 8, 1978, our pal Chris Pullman’s “Folk Art USA: Quilts” was issued by the US postal people. Pleased with his handsome design, he sent this first-day cover (by which we mean “an empty envelope with stamps on an envelope sent on the first day the stamps were released”) to his pal Tom Strong. Our pal Tom cherished it for forty-eight years before passing it along to us. We are now ready to pass it along to you, pal, for $40. Addressed by Chris on the front and initialed by him on the back.
