Graphic Design: The University of the Arts
Way back in 1991, when one wanted to learn about college, one had to go to the library, look in a directory to find contact information for a school, then write to or call that school for a brochure. It was arduous. But we didn’t know there was another way. At some point someone wrote away to get this brochure about the graphic design program at The University of the Arts and Philadelphia College of Art and Design. Now they’re both gone, so you can write and call all you want. Just don’t expect much. But this document is a record of its time in history, highlighting the Basel-influenced approach to teaching without actually saying so.
