Greenwich Arts Council: Bicentennial celebration (Bradbury Thompson)
Here’s a sharp piece of bicentennial design by Bradbury Thompson. It was put together by the Greenwich Arts Council in the year nineteen hundred and seventy-six. It’s a map showing the location of fifteen large-scale outdoor sculptures by fifteen prominent living American artists. (That’s one sculpture per prominent living artist.) We don’t feel like dropping names, but we recognize seven of the names. Also, check out that 7 in Sculpture 76. Weird, eh? A nice thing that Thompson gave to Steve Heller before you got it from us. Only in America!
