Italian Old Style: A New Type Designed by Frederic W. Goudy
Here’s a novelty: It’s a specimen of a type designed by Goudy, designed by Bruce Rogers. BR even wrote a note in the beginning. A good showing of Rogers at his allusive-yet-playful best, the cover alone has been much mimicked. Or, at least there’s one instance we can think of. Anyway, we wonder how many type designers are designing specimens for other type designers these days. Here’s one we can think of. There are probably 1 zillion more as there are at least 2 zillion type designers working today.
