Künstler ziehen an: Avantgarde-Mode in Europa 1910–1939 (René Gauch)
René Gauch was born in 1936 in Catania, Sicily, to Swiss parents. Apart from being a visual designer, he worked as a teacher, was head of the first vocational school of design in Switzerland and the first director of the technical college of color design, known today as “Haus der Farbe” (House of Color). He also designed this poster for an exhibition whose title translated to “Artists Dress Up: Avant-Garde Fashion in Europe 1910–1939.” That explains the cubist-inspired illustration of a dancer by artist Vilhelm Lundstrøm. A nice thing if you wear and like clothes.
