Letters Slate Cut

$30.00
Wouldn’t it be nice to carve letters into slate? When we moved to Cambridge we thought we might set up a little outdoor shop in our backyard and spend our evenings tap-tap-tapping until it got dark. Well, that never happened. But every time we see this book our hands get twitchy and we think we might like to hack out some letters in stone. These two make it look easy—although we are quite sure it is not. But even if you’ve no interest in trying this yourself, the book is a showcase of what’s possible. (Also, it’s a nice piece of design by Herbert Spencer.)
