[Paul Rand Job Ticket]

$300.00

Ever wonder how Paul Rand kept track of his jobs while they were in process? He used a job ticket. Webster (or maybe Merriam) defines a job ticket as “an auxiliary printed form that may accompany a job order to a workshop to be used variously for recording worker's time, identifying material, giving brief instructions as to procedure, routing, tools, and destination.” And that’s what this is—but for Paul Rand. It looks like it was set in 7-point metal Helvetica, repro proofs pulled, and then printed via offset. A lovely little thing and a rare artifact suitable for framing and confusing visitors.
